Seeing London

Stephen and Anna and Isaac went to London to watch a musical.  Before the show they spent the day seeing some of the sights.

Historical Stuff

The week after we got back from the cruise we went to the airport and picked up Isaac.  After we picked him up we went to Stonehenge and a couple other English Heritage sites.

We spent the night at a hotel and then visited a couple more sites on our way home the next.

Anna's Birthday

When we got back home from our trip we made a yummy cake to celebrate Anna's birthday.

Below is a little video of Emerson's talent with his hula hoop.

Cruising - Talent Show

On the last day of the cruise the boys participated in a talent show for their Adventure Ocean group.  All the kids got "first prize!"  Here are the boys sporting their medals.

Cruising - Anna's Surprise

On our last night of the cruise we surprised Anna and had our waiters bring out a cake and sing happy birthday to her.

Cruising - Gothenburg Sweeden

Our last stop on the cruise was Gothenburg Sweeden.  While in Gothenburg we went to the Volvo museum.  There were a lot of fun interactive things to do at the museum.

Below is Emerson's favorite car in the museum.

Canyon found a old yellow car that he liked.

(I guess Eleanor got a little hungry while at the museum.)

I think Canyon's favorite section was the big work vehicles.

Cruising - Tallinn Estonia

We had a nice warm sunny day in Estonia.  This was a fun relaxing stop after a couple of very busy days touring Russia.  We spent the day walking around the picturesque town of Tallinn.

Emerson had fun "trying out" the different merchandise at the shops.

It was such a beautiful day.  Eleanor and I had fun watching the boys throw rocks into the sea while Daddy and aunt Anna shopped.

Below are a couple of pictures of the little medieval town.

It was a pretty warm day so we had some tasty cold treats.

This last picture of Eleanor and Stephen sums up our day in Estonia pretty well I think.
It was definitely at the top of my list for the most enjoyable day while on our cruise.

Cruising - St. Petersburg Day Two Surprise!

After we got back from our tour of the church in St. Petersburg, Emerson, Anna and I had only a couple minutes before we had to hop on another tour bus.
It was a surprise for Emerson and Anna and I thought that it was a super fun experience.

The tour took us to a Matryoshka store and in a classroom above the store we were taught by a very well know artist how to paint our very own Matryoshka dolls.
(The artist painted the black bits...face...arms...legs...tail...etc. to my tiger)

Then after the class we were taken to a nearby restaurant to have a traditional Russian tea party.

Super fun experience!

Cruising - St. Petersburg Day Two

On our second day in St. Petersburg Russia we took a guided walking tour through some of the city.

The main stop was the Church of the Spilt Blood.  It is a very pretty building and has some beautiful mosaics on the inside.

It was a fun day visiting some of the tourist sites in St Petersburg and learning more about Russia's history and culture.
