The Kids Tree

When we got home from picking out our Christmas tree I took the kids upstairs to decorate their tree while Stephen put the lights on the real tree downstairs.  The boys had lots of fun putting the ornaments on their tree.

Eleanor was very interested too!  (Surprisingly she did not try to attack the tree until the boys had finished putting all the ornaments on it.)

Christmas Tree Farm

This year we got our Christmas tree from a "you choose, we cut" farm.  The boys had so much fun wondering around the Christmas tree farm looking at all the possibilities.

It was a beautiful, sunny, fall morning and a perfect outing to start off the holiday season.

Seven Months

Here are some pictures of Eleanor shortly after she turned seven months old.  She is such a fun, happy little girl.  She is very busy and loves cuddles.  She is such a sweetie and we love her to pieces.

Lollipops

The boys made lollipops after Emerson got home from school one day.  We used some fun moulds that were different animal faces/noses.  Emerson chose a pig nose and Canyon chose a doggy face.  The boys were very entertained and it was an easy craft/project to do.

First Tooth

The week after Thanksgiving was a busy one for Eleanor.  If you look really closely you will see the tip of a little tooth poking out. (It's the left middle side.)

Crawling

Eleanor started crawling shortly after Thanksgiving.  This video is after she had been crawling for two or three days. (She was being distracted by everyone trying to encourage her to crawl.)

Twenty-Nine

My birthday came a couple days after thanksgiving this year.  I love having a birthday during all the festivities of the holiday season.  This year my birthday was celebrated in two parts.  It started the night before with pizza and a movie at Lakenheath.  Then the morning of my birthday Canyon had surgery (they put tubes in his ears).  He did really well and acted like nothing had happened.  Since Canyon was in such high spirits, after we got home we opened presents and had some cake.

The boys had a lot of fun helping me open my presents.  I think they were just as excited to see what I had gotten.  (Eleanor was also a fan of my presents.)
