A Clue

We used Eleanor as our first clue as we sent daddy on a hunt to find his special prize onr night after he got home from work.

Trip to the Zoo

We took advantage of a sunny and slightly warm day in February and went to the zoo.

The boys were both really excited about feeding the goats.

(This is what happens when I ask the boys to pose nicely for a picture.)

Sweetheart Run

On the Saturday after Valentines day we participated in the Sweetheart 5K Run.  Stephen pushed to boys and I pushed Eleanor.

Eleanor was not the happiest that morning and so her and I didn't finish the run, but below are some pictures of the boys' finish.

Valentine's Day

On Valentine's day the boys woke up to some new stuffed animals (I found these two huge monkeys and the thrifts store!) and some chocolates.  They were very excited about their new stuffed toys.

Dorothy

Emerson's reception class has a class "mascot" named Dorothy the dinosaur.  The children get to take turns bringing Dorothy home with them.
Below is Emerson and Dorothy getting ready for breakfast (Emerson's lions wanted to have breakfast with Dorothy before she had to go back to school).

Bath Time

We bought some fun foaming bath soap at the store a while ago and the boys had fun playing with it the other day.  We gave ourselves facial hair and pretended to be super heroes and have our initials on our tummies.  Love how simple little things can make things so much fun.

Two Front Teeth

Cute little Eleanor showing off her bottom teeth.

Nine Months

Here are just a couple of pictures of Eleanor at nine months old.
(She just recently figured out how to take her headbands off and now I can never get her to keep them on!)

This fun happy girl is always busy.  She loves crawling from here to there and trying to get into all of her brothers things.  Her funny little ways keep us all very entertained.

Caught

Caught Canyon playing in the empty bath tub in his pajamas.  Silly boy!

Driving

Eleanor loves chasing after the boys while they ride around the house with their cars.  One morning after we got home from dropping Emerson off at school Canyon wanted to take Eleanor around for a ride.  She thought it was so much fun and laughed and giggled on their way around.

Emerson

Emerson is a very cheeky little monkey.  He is also very smart and loves to learn.  He is always asking deep thoughtful questions about why certain things are the way they are.  He is also a very creative little boy and currently loves drawing pictures and making cards for his friends and family.  He has a competitive side that loves to win and you can always get him excited to do something if you turn it into a game or a race (like putting his clean clothes in his drawers).  He is a funny little boy and often makes us laugh because of the things he says or does.  Life would be so dull without this crazy little boy.

Canyon

Canyon is such a fun sweet boy.  He is very kind and loving to his brother and sister.  He loves to work on puzzles and color pictures in.  He is a little grape monster and would happily eat fruit for every meal.  His cute chubby cheeks and round face are starting to slim down and he is starting to look less like a little toddler and more like a big boy.  His sweet smile lights up everyone around him and we are so lucky to have him as a part of our little family.

Eleanor

Just wanted to take a moment to mention a couple of things about this happy little girl.  She is such a fun, crazy girl.  She has tons of energy and loves getting into things.  She has a very fun excited laugh (especially when she gets surprised) and the cutest little giggle when you tickle her.  She loves to give sweet cuddles and  acts shy when people talk to her.  She's a bit of a wild one but she adds so much to help complete our little family and we love her to bits.

Snow!

We have had a couple of snowy days this winter and the boys have loved being outside playing in the snow. On one of these snowy days Stephen got home early from work and him and the boys went outside to play in the snow.

Eleanor and I braved the elements long enough to take a couple of pictures.

While rolling the balls to make their snow man, Stephen wrote Emerson's name.

The whole gang infront of "Frosty".

Christmas Photos

The kiddos had a great Christmas opening gifts and playing with their new toys...here are just a few photos from Christmas day.

A little team work.

Eleanor loved her ball from Canyon.

Everyone loved Canyon's rocking horse.

Christmas Doughnuts

After opening stockings we all took a quick break and ate some Christmas doughnuts.  This is another Christmas tradition that we started a couple of years ago and it has been a lot of fun.  The boys love choosing different Christmas shapes to cut their doughnuts into.

Growing up we always had cinnamon rolls in the morning while we opened some of our presents so the Christmas doughnuts has been a fun continuation of that tradition for me.

Christmas Stockings

Christmas morning finally came and the boys were so excited to go downstairs and see what presents were waiting for them.We let them start by opening their stockings.

(The boys love listening to music and singing songs in the car so we got them each a new cd - gotta love disney soundtracks.)
